James Clark, the second fellow from Sheffield Hallam University, has been actively participating for the past three months in the fellowship exchange program between Yorkshire Cancer Research (UK) and Regeneration & Progress, Greece.
During his time in Greece, he became a member of the Sports Excellence team, operating under the supervision of the First Orthopaedic Surgical Department of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). Through his involvement in innovative therapeutic exercise programs, he gained invaluable hands-on experience and contributed meaningfully to the lab’s mission of promoting health through exercise.
This international collaboration fosters the exchange of knowledge and best practices between leading institutions in the UK and Greece, advancing the field of cancer rehabilitation and sports medicine.
Farewell for now! It was truly a pleasure to have James in our team, and we hope our paths will cross again.
The fellowship program is supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
