Sports Excellence & Peristeri S.C

The ergometric/ physiological evaluation of the athletes of the male basketball team of Peristeri S.C has been completed on 20.08.18. The evaluation took place in the “Exercise Physiology” workshop of Sports Excellence at the Orthopedic Research & Education Center “P.N.Soucacos” of the 1^st Orthopedic Clinic, ‘ATTIKON’ General University Hospital.

The athletes, accompanied by the team trainer Manos Kotsis and Apostolis Sakkaris, were evaluated by Sports Excellence’s scientific staff in all critical aspects of athletic skills and competences, providing scientific data that can be used by the coaching team to improve athletes’ performance .The collaboration of Sports Excellence with the Basketball Division of the S.C Peristeri will be extended to the infrastructure departments with an even more intensive program of scientific monitoring of the athletes and aiming to achieve the long-term goals of the Association.

Sports Excelllence is an innovative system for the development and support of athletes, which is being implemented with the collaboration of the “Regeneration & Progress”, under the scientific supervision of the 1^st Orthopedic Clinic of the Medical School of the University of Athens, with a donation from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
